As our business is growing the paperwork is getting out of hand.
As everything is going digital now I thought it's about time we did the same so wanted to ask if anyone is using field management software?
What's the good and bad points I should be looking out for ? Which do you think is the best?

Hi, we had a similar problem a couple of years ago. We looked at 3 or 4 and decided to go with JobLogic. Their software is really intuitive and easy to use and support is always very good. It takes a lot of initial set up, although you can import via CSV files but once you have it set up you'll wonder how you ever did without it.
Good luck

I'm not going to knock a product but in our personal opinion run a mile from SimPro.

The demonstration is very crisp and professional and they tell you it can do this and that but they will not offer a trial period for you to try and see the software in action yourself.

Unfortunately for us we fell for it. But continually during and after the training sessions we asked to be shown various features we were promised during the sales pitch but we were never shown and in the end i have an email saying what they promised wasn't available but should coming be in future releases, and yet the expect me to keep paying their monthly subscription. In the end they basically said if you don't like things set out how they have done it (which is terrible) stop subscribing and leave. No customer service, a terrible attitude towards us and no help or assistance whatsoever.

All i will say is that if you want any specific feature or forms laid out how you want them to look DON'T take their word that the software will do it, make sure you actually see what you want in black and white. Their back end form designer is so inflexible its untrue. And if they say its not down to them to set up forms or the lay outs, .... or even help us do it, run a mile.

But don't take my word for it, have a look yourself, just be cautious.
